Video Relay Upgrades
As our video relay service has expanded we have continued to utilize ever bulkier hardware to handle the connections, demos and bandwidth. Today we've just completed another expansion of our relay service. Our video relay systems now tout Dual Quadcore Intel Nehalem 5520 processors (2.26GHz per core) with 12 GB of RAM. Additionally, we've increased our bandwidth ports to Gig-E (1,000MB/sec) to handle the plethroa of bandwidth usage for this service. As we've actually changed networks to make these things happen, some IPs have changed. For the most part your ISP's DNS servers will pick up these changes within 24 hours. If they don't happen to, you may use the equivalent IP for your provided hd-gaming.com relay DNS value. Below is the matrix of before and after so that you can avoid confusion. You may also be able to expedite the DNS changeover by flushing your DNS cache in command prompt (instructions on how to do this can be found here: http://www.tech-faq.com/flush-dns.shtml).
