Seattle ventrilo --> San Jose ventrilo
We've had repeated requests to open another West Coast ventrilo location to our network. Due to the rather poor economy for online gaming and voice communication services, we aren't willing to host another location on the West Coast to split our client base. We've decided to move our Seattle-based ventrilo hosting to San Jose, California. Based in Norther California, San Jose provides a more balanced location for all clients in the Western portion of the U.S.A. The move will be completed within the next few days. Clients currently hosted with our service in Seattle will have their DNS of nirvana.hidef-voice.com pointed to the new server. All new orders for San Jose will be using another DNS, silicon.hidef-voice.com.
We hope whatever interruption there is in service is absolutely minimal for all clients and that the more balanced routing and latency is a success.
